IT Manager
Hyper Microsystems Inc is seeking an enthusiastic person with excellent communication and computer skills to join the team as our IT Manager. Experience in designing, implementing and documenting hardware and software systems is required with at least 5 years of work in the IT field. Must have experience programming, managing databases, networking, system security and training users of all experience levels. Proficiency with Office Suite, including Access, is required.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Implementing IT system security in the organization to ensure safety of data and IT systems
In charge of overseeing the organization's WAN systems
Management and maintenance of computer work stations
Troubleshooting of computer problems
Handling the proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and back ups
Ensuring smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization
Communicating with top management in regards to IT related issues
Identifying new computer systems and trends in the market so that the organization's IT status is always on the forefront
Developing computer databases and setting them up. This includes writing precise instructions through programming language for the computer to collect and sort out relevant data
Work with other programming staff and contractors to determine changes and enhancement in program code
Provide guidance to support staff on software development and maintenance
Handle complications arising from the development of new softwar
Training employees on hardware and software in non-technical terms
Requirements:
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Able to communicate to employees at all levels of IT knowledge and skill
Proficiency with MS Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to self-evaluate and quickly adapt to changes
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience in designing enterprise applications
Experience as a systems Architect
Experience implementing new systems
Experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting networks
Experience with computer/network security
Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (MFL)
Knowledge of at least 2 programming languages (C#, XML, SQL, ASP)
Expert IT knowledge in areas of application development, standards applications, documentation, security and hardware.
At least 5 years experience in the IT field (hardware and/or software)
Keeps up-to-date with innovations and changes in the technology field
