Repair Technician

Hyper Microsystems Inc is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a repair technician. This person will do testing, physical inspection, assembling/disassembling, troubleshooting and repair of various computer components, peripherals and consumer electronics. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 year of experience in the field. Experience building servers is a plus.

Skills:

Good knowledge of computer hardware and/or consumer electronics repair

Ability to read drawings, specifications, and quality plans

Experience with hand/power tools; mechanical skills.

Basic typing skills and experience with windows based computer programs

Requirements:

Must be able to test, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, computer hardware and/or consumer electronics.

2 years professional experience troubleshooting or repairing consumer electronics or computer hardware

Must have ability to work in a conveyer assembly environment including lifting and moving baskets up to 50 pounds to and from the work bench

Have ability to work with power tools

Must be willing to expand skills and assist on testing during down times

Able to follow set procedures for repair and testing

Have good interpersonal/team skills and ability to exercise independent judgment
